Behind the myth of "business partnerships": Vulnerable app-based drivers in urgent need of legal protection in Viet Nam

For over ten years, digital labor platforms like Grab and Uber have rapidly grown in Vietnam, impacting numerous workers. So far, the discourse has largely emphasized on the benefits, job creation, and flexibility. However, growing concerns also focus on low pay, unsafe conditions, and lack of protections. This study highlights the vulnerability of platform workers and seeks solutions.
